Memorial Donations

Would you like to honor the memory of your loved ones? Here at Notre Dame Church, there are different ways to memorialize those who are dear to you. You are welcome to choose among these liturgical devotions:

The candles at the Holy Family and Our Lady of Guadalupe altars can be lit monthly in memory of a loved one. You may want to remember your family, neighbors, friends, teachers, or service men and women. Or you may want to have the candles lit for an intention: peace, end to homelessness, safety of children, etc. The suggested donation per month is $40.

Donations can also be made to underwrite the cost of the bread and wine which is presented during the offertory at Sunday Mass. The bread and wine are consecrated and shared at communion. The suggested donation for these Eucharistic gifts is $40 per month.

A Mass intention can be scheduled for the living or deceased. Every weekday and Sunday liturgy, at the Prayer of the Faithful, we offer intercessions/prayers for the intentions of the parish. This is an excellent way to honor or offer a special blessing for someone in your life. Arrangements can be made to send a card notifying someone of the intention. The suggested stipend for a Mass is $10.

Please call MaryAnn at the rectory (312) 243-7400 (ext. 10) for assistance or any questions.
