Mission Statement

As believers, we are called into being through our experience of the Paschal mystery, the dying and rising of Christ. This dying and rising makes us who are.

We, people of the "Near West Side", a diversified Catholic community, praise God in worship and strive to work in

partnership to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It shall be our mission to renew ourselves and the world around us, to unify and encourage the entire parish community in developing a sense of love and concern for the needs of all people, and to make Christianity a reality in our lives.

We shall achieve this mission through setting goals embracing the values of:

- fostering Catholic education and formation for following c Christ as disciples,
- empowering the laity for ministry,
- doing the works of justice, and
- being peacemakers
